Insurance Policies are potentially effective tools to transfer some risk areas of your Risk Landscape. However, there is rarely any free lunch provided by insurance providers. In this video we provide an overview of the new Insurance Evaluation section of the ManageXValue Risk Quantification platform.
What enables this flexible Insurance Evaluation capability is the Risk Quantification Graph Model within the platform. It enables clients to slice and dice their Risk Landscape. This same capability allows us to define any insurance coverage and evaluate the potential annual payout of each coverage. Comparing the Expected Annual Payout to the Annual Upfront Cost of the Insurance Policy provides the Expected Excess Payout. This measure tells whether the policy is fairly priced.
A key value for clients is that while they can evaluate their Insurance Policies considering their current Risk Landscape, they can also evaluate the impact of any Risk Mitigation Investment or Investment Portfolio. This helps them with negotiating insurance fee savings in light of their investments that address the risks under coverage.
